People are attracted to our faces when they look at us. We shed our old skin and make brand-new skin cells during the skin cycle. Individual factors such as stress, nutrition, hormones, and age are significant. It takes a complete cycle between 5 and 6 weeks on average. For people in their mid-30s, it takes 28 days, while for those aged 19 to 21, it takes 14 to 21 days. When we reach our 40s and 60s, the skin cycle slows to about 45 to 50 days, and it reaches 60 to 90 days when we reach our 50s and 60s.
Facial rejuvenation is a cosmetic treatment (or series of cosmetic treatments) that restores a youthful appearance to the face. Surgical and/or non-surgical options are available for facial rejuvenation. Invasiveness and depth of treatment can vary between procedures. Surgery can restore the face's symmetry through targeted procedures, face restructuring, and skin alterations.
While the surgical procedures restore facial symmetry through specialized procedures along with facial restructuring and alterations, the non-surgical ones target specific depths of facial structures and treat localized facial concerns such as wrinkles, laxity, hyperpigmentation and scars.
Surgical (invasive) facial rejuvenation procedures can include a brow lift (forehead lift), eye lift (blepharoplasty), facelift (rhytidectomy), chin lift and neck lift. Non-surgical (non-invasive) facial rejuvenation treatments can include chemical peels, neuromodulator (such as botox), dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, photo-rejuvenation, radiofrequency and Ultrasound.

Nano Fat and Fat transfer are procedures which have been refined by Dr. Sydney Coleman. The fat is harvested using a small cannula attached to a syringe and is then either left to settle or placed in a centrifuge to spin off both the oil layer at the top and the debris at the bottom of the column of fat. The central purified fat is then re-injected to achieve not only fullness to the tired and sagging , but also injects a fresh lease of life into these tissues.
This procedure is frequently used as an adjunct to many other facial procedures, most notably a facelift. It is also used in conjunction with other non-surgical and cream based tightening and glowing programs, especially it is frequently placed into the perioral region to affect this facial rejuvenation.
Even though a facelift may soften the depth of the nasolabial folds and the marionette lines, these areas remain after a facelift. Fat injections can be safely performed at the same time as a facelift and this will produce a shallowing of these of the nasolabial folds and marionette lines and will be a useful adjunct to a facelift.
Fat can also be placed into the lip and philtral columns as well as to the malar (cheek) regions. It is also a procedure that can be performed as a stand-alone procedure in patients who are concerned regarding these specific areas due to aging or weight loss.
